FAQ
Where does the background music go?
You get two videos: one with only speech, one with only music and ambient sound. Sound effects stay with the music track — splitting music and effects further is a much harder problem, and we don't pretend to solve it.
Do you upload my video?
No. The picture is processed entirely in your browser. Only the audio track — a few MB — is sent for separation, and it's deleted right after.
What file types and limits?
Videos up to 2 GB and 30 minutes (MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM), or audio files (MP3, WAV, M4A and more). Audio in, stems out — no video step. Daily free minutes cover 10 minutes of media length.
Which browsers work best?
Chrome and Edge give the smoothest experience and can save large results to disk. Safari and Firefox work for files up to about 500 MB.
